Fragile ThingsThose fragile things  that float around your head;  a rustling winter din  the kind that kids dream of.   
These aren't words  
but martyrs of the air,  crucified through heaving sighs  the subtle words I shed.   
Where do they go?  Where did they go?  Coke babies lined up in the snow,  between their heads  the fractures grow:  a weight that's unsustainable.  And I would slit a rainbow's throat  to have the happiness spill out   
on fragile things.

WednesdayResting on your linen sheet, I don't  
see you anymore.  Gaping, dark holes where your gentle,  brown eyes should be leave nothing  unseen.   
If awake to witness your own,  
a wake uncomprehended, or unreal,  is the sweetest wake of all.   
 
The nurses melt past me in another  time, like extras in a film: movements  too precise, too practised, too  
refined. They seem not to notice the  pyre of dust on the white, white linen.   
The sounding machine by your bed  begs a deathly silence, regulating  a stirring eulogy.

Goodbye (most probably)

I just want to say goodbye, and thanks to all of those who have frequented my pages.

I'm probably indefinately leaving this site due to pressure from college, uni and life in general. I'm also searching for a publisher for my poems (most of which I haven't put on here), so I don't want to have to deal with copyright infringement if I succeed, and someone has borrowed one of my poems. As such, I'm, hesitatingly and sadly, probably going to delete my poems from this site.

A big thanks to everyone who has commented, and even read. A bigger thanks to Deviant Art, who has nurtured me from my depressingly bad beginnings, to my post-modern style nowadays.
